We wanted to see how the use of different pillows affected an individual’s comfort level. For this study, we used several pillows with varying dimensions, angles, and heights (see Figure 1). The experimental group, consisting of 13 adults, was then asked to try out all of the pillows for five minutes each. The participants rated their level of comfort on a scale from 1 to 10.

After analyzing the results, it was clear that some pillows were favored over others by the majority of participants (Figure 2). For example, Pillow 8 received the highest ratings (7/10) for all participants. Pillow 8 was mostly recognized by its high height; however, the pillow’s angle also proved to be an important factor in the comfort level of each subject (Figure 2).

The study showed that an experiment has a unique relationship between the shape and angle of certain pillows and how it affects a person’s comfort level. Approach

In terms of product design, each product should be tailored to a certain audience: a specific group of consumers. Because each target group has different needs, it’s impossible to create a single product that will satisfy all of them. As a result, it is critical to determine the pillow design variables that influence a subject’s comfort, as well as to develop a better and more appropriate product. As a result, the goal of this study was to see if there was a link between pillow form and subjective comfort level in asymptomatic people.

The room temperature, which was kept at 25°C, was one of the experiment’s independent variables. For all of the tests, the same platform and eight identical pillow compositions were employed.
